    Absolutely clearly written book and a great tool for students of coaching.


    Even if you have other coaching books, this one belongs in your library. It offers a perfect combination of theory (fully referenced), coaching conversations between client and coach, helpful and practical tips on the margins and even smart graphical cartoons that cut through the chase and illustrate various concepts covered in the book. More than that, Karpinska and Kmecova wrapped all of this up into their "coaching pyramid" - a super useful full-cycle coaching model that helps coaches structure and lead a transformational coaching conversation from the beginning to the end. The rest of the book then fills in the layers of the pyramid with techniques, tools, tips, simulated coaching conversations and illustrations. You can use it as a sort of coaching how-to guide book (even for self-coaching). If you are an experienced coach, add the pyramid model to your already existing coaching toolkit.
